TOM DELAY'S STOLEN CONGRESS
A special event to tell you about this week: The Guild once again was Albuquerque's premiere venue for a film distributed by Robert Greenwald (OUTFOXED, WAL-MART: THE HIGH COST OF LOW PRICE), as THE BIG BUY: TOM DELAY'S STOLEN CONGRESS hit the Guild for four screenings only, beginning this weekend and repeating the next weekend. Sunday was very special, indeed, as THE BIG BUY's co-director, Mark Birnbaum, was on hand to introduce the film and take questions for Sunday's screening only. The movie premiered in Houston, and its run there was extended for a week. It won't show in Austin until after the jury is selected for DeLay's trial, so as to not contaminate the jury pool. D.A. Ronnie Earle is a featured speaker in the movie, as well as columnists Molly Ivin and Jim Hightower. So far, it's scheduled to play in 25 cities. If yours is not one of them (I don't have a list, but Dallas is another one), you can buy the movie for $14.95 at http://tomdelaymovie.com/ You can also find it at Netflix. I think probably Blockbuster as well.
By the way, if you'd like to see baby pictures of the little ones in the family, go to www.picturetrail.com/jberman and look for the album titled Emma and Eli.
